Research Paper and Works Cited Page

Goal: Students will write a research paper focusing on career/ future plans

INFORMATION FROM GOOGLE OR RANDOM SEARCHES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!!

Outline for the paper:

Using TWO print resources and TWO Internet resources, you will gather information about a career that you are interested in pursuing. Try to address as many of the following outline points as possible, at the end of your paper, include a WORKS CITED PAGE as reference to the sources you used in correct MLA format.

**You must have a minimum of FOUR sources in your research notebook. (2 print and 2 Internet)
***You must use a minimum of THREE sources in your actual paper.

Paper Specifics:
1. Must include a minimum of 3 different in-text citations
2. Must use direct, partial and paraphrased quotes.
3. All in-text citations must ALSO be organized and indicated on your Works Cited Page
4. 12 point Times New Roman Font
5. Double Space; NO extra spaces between paragraphs
6. Must include a THESIS statement and SPECIFIC EXAMPLES in your supporting paragraphs
7. Must have a Conclusion
8. Missing requirements will result in an entire grade deduction
9. DO NOT use contractions or second person
